QD "checking" ?

Pressure is usually the reason for difficult connecting.

Each side could build up pressure.

Are the QD parts from the same manufacturer.

Try this. Remove the QD halve from the hoses and see if they will connect normally.

They do make QD's that connect under pressure.

If all else fails, just obtain new QD sets.
