Quality control

I purchased a new TC33DA about 6 months ago. Nice machine, very capable. I am however, more than a bit disappointed with the fit and finish of some of the components. There appears to have been some quality control issues. Has anyone else experienced this? Does the Case DX series (virtually identical to the New Holland boomer series) have the same problems?

It'd help if you were more specific about what fit and finish and QC issues you're seeing. I didn't have any issues with my 2001 TC25D.

I have noticed no fit and finish issues with my 01 TC33....

My only complaint regarding the fit and finish of my brand new 2005 NH TC29DA was the few minor scratches next to the HST foot pedal left from the dealer's very large size boot. Jay

I agree.. the last 2 NH tractors I've bought ( 1997 & 2001 ).. have been great on the QC / F&F department.

To the original poster, what problems were you specifically observing?

In my experience over the last ten years, New Hollands have had consistantly better fit & finish than a certain orange-colored brand...I won't mention any names or anything.

Yes, what problems exactly? A tractor will not have the same level of fit & finish as a car or truck, but they are typically close.

My TC35 a few fit and finish problems. One that erks me is that one of the rear fenders was trimmed smaller then the other one.

After reading several posts about other brands of tractors, I feel like I have a great tractor. I could complain about a few details, but the main componets on my TC 40 and my old TC 30 were rock solid. I would like a cupholder on my new TC 40A. This is my biggest gripe, but my New Holland isn't setting at the dealer with a broken drive train, FEL, and leaking fluid. No, I don't have anything to complain about now that I think about it.
