Kubota 3710. Gear oil leaking from front axel. I removed the tire and bolts in the pics. Will the axel come out with some easy prying or is there a clip holding it in place. It has come out about an 1/2 inch already. I think the oil is leaking from the outer seal (seal A part 060) as it is leaking into the tire rim. Thanks

From your parts picture it looks like it should come apart. Maybe bearing 020 is a tight fit.

Great that you found it before there was more damage. Not everyone would stop using it with a small grease leak until they screwed up the whole side.

Was there any retainer on the shaft above the bearing? Part number 040? Looks like the shaft should press out pretty easily.

Were any balls mising from the bearing? If so, did you find them?

There was a retainer 040. Missing several ball bearings. Still looking. Any ideas/tips how to get the bad bearing out? There are no clips holding it in. It looks pressed in.

With parts the dealer wants about $125 to put a new bearing in. $75 in labor. Says it will take an hour. Does that sound right? An hour to put a bearing in?
