I have run Massey Ferguson tractors all my life- we have a 135 diesel, 35 special and a 175 diesel, and a Pacer that I bought a couple of years ago. My brother and I have a chance to buy an 1105 at a good price but were told that the lift won't work. The current owner has been told that there is a major part in the lift system that could be bad and is not worth fixing. What are your thoughts? Are there common hydraulic problems with these models? I have worked on tractors all my life, but never messed with lifts, but it seems that there could not be that much wrong with it, especially considering the fact that the price is very reasonable.
