Question about a 270 Massey Ferguson and sr110 Kuhn rake

We recently bought a sr110 Kuhn hay rake and we use a 1985 270MF to rake with. It has one set of hydraulic remotes and it raises the rake, but won’t let it down unless you pull each arm down to get it started. I’m assuming it doesn’t put pressure to the down side. Is there anyway to remedy this?

If it has a turn lever on the bottom of the remote it can be switched from double acting and single acting cylinders. I may be wrong, but most have this capability.
