Hi Guys,
Martin from Sweden here. Just bought a Ford 1900 from 1983. It will be used to harrow a paddock and some other useful stuff.
It has a front loader and 4wd.
Few bad things
- Its yellow.......
So I will during the coming year paint it back to blue.
- All the sheet metal is very rusty.....e.g. no floor at all...
- There was a cabin on but has been cut down.
Right now its in the garage and I am taking a few things aparts and will change all oil and filters (or clean)
Anyway, I have some questions now.
1. There is a "hings" type of thing on the top of the tank, in the middle. I would assume it should have something todo with the hood lock....cant see otherwise what its for. My problem is that since its quite loose and its rubbing against the tank..causing a whole??..and does not fill any function right now.....I can of course take a picture...but I would assume that some one know what I am talking about. Its quite long and wide (Made out of flat iron). Its held by the "bar" holding the tank in place.
- What is it for and should it really be so loose?
2. I have the hand throttle which I use. I found a loose foot pedal which is the foot throttle. But I cant figure out how it should be mounted. I am missing the "things" which the foot pedal can "spin"/move around. I see where it should be connected to the actual throttle..but not how it should be mounted on the floor/bar type. Any picture would be apreciated.
Thanks for now.
