Might be a dumb question... But how do I adjust the length of the top link when I'm standing at the rear of the tractor and trying to mount an implement? Does pushing my remote lever to detent allow me to manually pull/push the top link to the desired length?

If your remote valve has a float position, and your TL does not have a DPOCV on it, and the cylinder is a little "loose" then you can probably push/pull it as needed. Otherwise, there is no way to move it from outside the cab.

I have a hydraulic top link on my open station Kubota. The HTL(hyd top link) is only slightly easier to adjust than a manual, when connecting implements. The advantage comes into play after the implement is connected. Thru trial/error I've learned the approximate extension for the HTL for all 3-point implements. Yes, it would be a whole lot easier/quicker to have a second person helping but thats not one of the advantages I currently have.

Once I equipped my Kubota with TnT it became even more obvious that the next step was a QH. I've not removed the QH since first installing it.

This is what I would say is the correct answer. But then I would think that anyone doing this stuff for a living would have a quick hitch and everything set up as quick hitch compatible. :confused3:

I made a setup like this for my 3pt and top link.
