Question about GC mid mount mower

I'm considering the purchase of a subcompact tractor, and I've got a question about the GC1720. If I elect to get the 1720 (TLB), is it fully compatible with a MMM? Does use of the MMM require removal of the backhoe? The backhoe would probably spend most of the time off of the tractor anyway, but just wondering if it is required. I assume the deck uses the three point lift, so would require the removal of either the backhoe or the three point arms. I'd like to hear from owners of the GC1710 and GC1720 about their overall experience with them, as well.

Can't speak for the 1700 series, but it's probably the same as my 2310. Yes, a MMM will fit under it nicely, and it makes a great mower: fast and makes a very good cut. Some leave the BH on, but I take mine off-- much easier on the lawn as well as being more maneuverable. I rig up a system using a bar & bungies to keep the 3PH arms up & out of the way because, yes, they'll go up & down with the MMM. I just remove the two links & store them. ijk

I have a 1710 and the MMM. It works well, nice cut and quick. The lift arms, sway links and lower arms have to come off when the mower is on. The upper lift arms that are attached to the tractor stay on and have enough clearance with the BH attached to move up and down when the mower is used. Look closely at the 1710, not sure the 1720 is worth the extra $2k.
