Once you understand it's life cycle, you can better manage the timing of the proper pesticides to maximize it's effectiveness.

It says the traps attract more beetles to your property than are killed by the traps.

When I first had the problem, the local nursery said the best solution was to buy the traps and give them to your neighbor a few hundred yards away. I was told that the traps do work great, but will attract the beetles.

My solution was by accident. Chickens! I have not had a beetle problem since I got chickens.
