All,
I bought a 300X loader yesterday to mount on my 3120. My tractor already had the hood guard installed so I wasn't going to need it. The unit the dealer had had the older hood guard with it (they are sending that back for a credit) like was on my 4200 I used to have. The dealer told me not to worry that they were all the same ecept the hood guard. When I look at deere's website it shows different mounting brackets between the 4200 and the 3120, the dealer insists that I am wrong. I am concerned because they knocked another $200 off it I installed the loader myself and told me it would only take a couple of hours. Anyone know what I'm about to get into?
Thanks

My only suggestion is to log into JD PARTS, and look up the loader to figure out what mounting brackets you need...

For $200 I think I would have let them install it though.

I got the loader put on last night. If I could make $200 bucks every day doing that I'd have it licked. It only took roughly 90 minutes and was very easy. I'm glad I saved the money.
