If you are disking it up anyway it really doesnt matter

I agree. Unless you have a major weed problem to control, not sure why you are spraying and disking twice, especially if it is just a food plot. If you are growing for production, then you probably have serious weeds to control. Disturbing the soil will just allow additional weed seeds to germinate after planting after already spending money on herbicides. Don't spray unless you need to, to reduce the spread of resistant weeds if at all possible.
