MT125
I have a MT-125 tractor and I just bought a WoodMaxx TM-86H wood chipper. My question is when I get off of the tractor with the PTO engaged the tractor will shut off for safety reasons how will I work the chipper if I can't get off of the tractor to operate it? Thanks, David.

I would think you could wire in a seat bypass switch.

Yes , as Doofy said, wire in a bypass switch. It's as simple as a single throw (simple on/off) switch to connect the 2 leads(wires) when the switch is thrown. You can wire it inline so that the seat switch would still work normally when the switch is 'open' (off) then when closed (on) completes the circuit, allowing you to get off the seat. Very simple to do, can even use those 'in line splice' connectors. Hardest part will be where you mount the switch.

I have to ask, how did you pick your screen name.. Santafedave? Are you from Santa Fe?

Have you tried setting the parking brake, some models this will allow for the pto to operate with out someone in the seat.

This is correct. I run my MT125 with chipper all the time. If the brake is engaged the PTO will keep running.
