Hello, I am trying to sell my fathers Troy bilt tiller he bought long time ago, he had never used since he had a stroke. The tiller has been sitting in the garage for years now . It has a Snow blade and Generator attachment and is gas powered.

I was wondering how much I could prob get for it? I do not know how to use a tiller /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Thanks

You don't say how many years. If it's been many, many (10-15 yrs) and fuel was left in it it probably needs a carburetor as the float is surely gummed up. Also, you don't give the size.

If it's the horse model, and if it's in good running condition (change the oil BEFORE you try to run it) with the attachments mentioned I've seen stuff like that go for $300-$600 at auctions.

Richard is telling you like it is. I bought a brand new "Horse" just this summer. I owned one of the old Troy Tillers with the Kohler engines 25 years ago and there is no comparison between the two. The oldies were made much better then the new ones. You shouldn't have a problem selling it and making a nice dollar or two in the process.
