Like Koz - I too have a
B7610 - except with a 54" MMM. I actually prefer the mowing finish to the the Sears Craftsman 38" riding mower it replaced!
I have had zero problems with my MMM this first season of ownership - it's built very tough and I expect it will last for years (heh - that's the plan anyway with buying a CUT!). I've accidentally whacked some rocks while mowing - and no problems. Of course, I've now dug most of these pesky rocks up with my FEL - so should not be a regular occurence going forward.

I think the main decision between MMM and RFM is one of manueverability. If you have wide open field / lawn to mow - then I think a RFM is a better value (don't have one so can't comment on the cut quality - but I think its even) as it's much less than the MMM price. Because the RFM extends the length of the tractor, I think it limits your turning ability in tight spaces - however the advantage is you can back it up under overhanging branches etc. - where you could never go with a MMM.
I find my
B7610 to be quite *nimble* - really! With the power steering - and HST (no crappy mechanical shifter!) it's actually much easier to drive / mow than the old Sears rider! The only downside of the MMM is attaching / removing it if you want to do FEL work, for example. That being said - I have worked out a system where I can remove my MMM in @ 5 minutes - and reattach in under 10 minutes - so it's no big deal. (Check out some pics I have on website by clicking link in my signature to get an idea)
I decided to go with a 54" instead of 60" MMM for better manuevering around trees / gardens / rocks - luckily there's a gate I can just squeeze through too - wouldn't have made it with a 60". For my 2-3 acres of mowing, I didn't think the extra 6" width would dramatically improve my mowing time (now @ 1 hour vs. 2 1/2 hours with Sears 38" rider).
Like Koz mentioned - I think a
B7610 runs @ $800 - 1000 more than a
B7510 - but I wanted the higher FEL loader capacity of the LA352 - which is only offered on the
B7610 /
B2410 models.
Pricewise - I think the
B7510 w/ LA302 for $12,5K is about what I was quoted this past spring - and then it was an additional @ $2,200 - 2,300 for the MMM - so I'm guessing @ $14,800 total for a
B7510, LA302 and MMM. I think the RFM are less than half the MMM price?
The Kubota prices seems to vary several $1,000 depending on region / state (even when figuring in taxes) - your price quote seem similar to what I received in Massachusetts.
Hope that helps - and no MMM problems to report here.
