Had to go to after school yesterday and pick up the knife my one boy forgot he had in his backpack that gramps gave him over the weekend LOL
At least he was responsible about it. Once he knew he had it, he turned it in and explained the situation. No harm no foul thank God. Our school system is pretty rural and things like this happen. The other year a high schooler forgot he had his hunting shotgun in his pick up truck. Made news big time in the local city in the next county. The charges were thankfully quietly dismissed once it was determined he was telling the truth. I believe they let him go on a "technicality" which no one was arguing over.
