How do you create a text field that will let the end user type in all the info needed without having the text "cut out" so you can't read it all in the field?

I've noticed that when the field is created directly from the form, the end user can type in all the info you need and the font just keeps getting smaller to keep everything in the field so you can read it.

I've looked at the properties section in the text field (when I've created a text field), but still can't figure it out.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks

so, it would help if you stated what software you are using to create the PDF ...
I use Foxit Phantom and on the "appearance" tab of "text field properties", in the "text" block, the setting for "Font Size" needs to be set to "auto".
The result is both scrolling and shrinkage

Adobe Pro.

The font size was the key. I didn't realize you have to keep scrolling "smaller" to get to auto in the format field.

Sincere thanks. It was driving me UP THE WALL!
