I have an older BEFCO H25 flail. The sprig that connects to the tensioner popped of, which caused the belt to jam. I now need a new belt. Coupe of questions-
1) Does anyone have a user/service manual for this?
2) Does someone know what size belt is needed?
3) Is there a pic that details how to attach the spring back on the tensioner and flail body?

TIA

Give me a few minutes;

If your tensioner has popped off chances are very good that
the spring needs to be replaced also.

The V belt will be easy to replace, you can take the old belt to a
NAPA or TSC, Menards, Farm and Fleet, etc., and obtain a new one.

I would contact Befco directly for a manual and a spring or your nearest Befco dealer
I am pretty sure thier flail mowers are an italian brand under that Befco paint.

About the spring- you should be able to find the mounting point very easily as the spring
has limited amount odf stretch to do work; there should be an extended bolt head or a hole in
one of the weldments under the belt guard that holds the flat tensioner pulley against the flat
portion of the belt.

You should also check with German-Bliss Equipment about a manual for your H25 Flailmower
