Well thanks that sounds great of you.
In checking the number online at sears I got this result
Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears Parts Direct | SearsPartsDirect.com from Sears
However, Maybe do you remember if there was the red 'button' on the back on the board? this is for the roving codes.I see they also came with a green 'button'.
unfortunately the sears part doesn't offer a picture of it.
One other thing that ran through my mind was to replace my oldest opener with a new one and use the case motor etc on the broken one. The older doesn't have the eyes. Not sure what to do next.
I've replaces the plastic wheel on my oldest unit. it was an easy fix.wow todays cost
Part #41A2817 | Dr/worm kit | SearsPartsDirect.com from Sears
I remember thinking 14 dollars was alot.Given the costs of parts its worth it to just replace the whole unit like you did.
Thanks so much, if it is the red button type I could use it I think, but I'm still somewhat concerned that it could be something else also. And maybe a spare wouldn't be a bad idea for me as I have four of the same units.
Thanks again
