Question on garage door motor

In checking the number online at sears I got this result

However, Maybe do you remember if there was the red 'button' on the back on the board? this is for the roving codes.I see they also came with a green 'button'.
unfortunately the sears part doesn't offer a picture of it.
One other thing that ran through my mind was to replace my oldest opener with a new one and use the case motor etc on the broken one. The older doesn't have the eyes. Not sure what to do next.
I've replaces the plastic wheel on my oldest unit. it was an easy fix.wow todays cost

I remember thinking 14 dollars was alot.Given the costs of parts its worth it to just replace the whole unit like you did.
Thanks so much, if it is the red button type I could use it I think, but I'm still somewhat concerned that it could be something else also.And maybe a spare wouldn't be a bad idea for me as I have four of the same units.

Al, I think the difference between the button colors on the board is one is "Security +" and operates on a different frequency from the other one. I can't recall which color is which so I don't know how much this helps you, but I do remember that the board has to match your existing remotes, good luck, Rick

And to 'TheKid' thanks for offering the board.
After further review, found that there are three wires to the motor. One is the white and goes to neutral on the incoming wires..
The black incoming is switched back and forth to the red and the blue from the motor.
(total three wires from motor white, red, and blue.
I have eliminated the board and eyes completely. Using just two momentary throw switches to switch back and forth the black(hot) from the blue and red. thus moving the door up or down.
This serves the purpose as its a 12 foot high door and isn't used every day.

The motors are reversible.
