Question on lifting tree into planting hole

/ Question on lifting tree into planting hole #11
Nurseries use something like a Bobcat Digger for small trees -- up to maybe 3 inches in trunk diameter and then a tree spade for anything bigger. If you're talking about moving trees on your own property, I can attest to the quality of the Digger. I have one, and it is just about my favorite attachment for my Bobcat. I have not tried it on my tractor, but with the addition of a skid steer "adapt-o-plate" there's no reason it shouldn't work on your FEL.

Thanks! Looks like a perfect tool for digging a tree up.

I guess it uses the same hydraulics that tilt the FEL bucket forward and back (not up and down)?
