So I have never owned a tractor with a 3PH and was wondering what is the usage of a drawbar? I was thinking of utilizing it as a d ring and hitch ball mount for pulling chains and trailers? Is there something I should consider instead?

Like I said I am new to the tractor game. I only own a GC1715

The biggest danger in using a 3 point hitch to pull a trailer is you have to remember the 3 point hitch can be pushed up, it isn't held down. This could be a problem if you're pulling a trailer without enough tongue weight and you try to stop. The weight of the trailer can push the hitch upward shifting weight off the rear wheels of the tractor and possibly causing you to lose control.

There was a posting somewhere on site about mounting bolt on receiver hitch under solid draw bar mount and using inserts just as behind on road tow vehicle.... Think it was on a Kabota but then again a tractor is a tractor....

Believe its called "step bumper receiver hitch"...

IF you plan on a lot of towing, might be something to consider....

Sure. I mounted one of those on the front of a small Kubota which makes a dandy mechanism for maneuvering trailers around in tight spaces, where you can't hardly use the pickup truck, etc.
