Hoping someone will throw some light on a couple of things...

What is the significance of the member status badge - gold, platinum, super star for example. Is there a benefit? How are they determined?

I in my profile I have listed my implements and I can see them there. But they don't appear on the left of the screen when posting or replying. What am I doing wrong?

I have saved a profile pic but it does not appear on posts or reply's either.

I'm not sure about the first one.

The second question I think you're talking about setting up your "signature". Like how I have mine set up to include the pics and info at the bottom of every one of my posts.

To set that up...
1. Scroll to the top of the page.
2. Click "My Home" in the middle of the gray toolbar across the top.
3. Click "Edit Signature" on the left-hand column.

PS - There IS a character limit to your signature.

The third question is your "Avatar", which can also be set up from the left-hand column of the "My Home" page.

Thank you! Weird thing - I have clicked the My Home button previously and often it does nothing. The Avatar thing is what I was looking for so you are spot on.

The membership levels are based on the number of posts.
I think for the most part they just look nice.
You should have all of your member rights after five or so posts.

G'day Mate. As Catherine said, the membership level status is just there for 'looks'.

When I reached "Super", I received no special powers whatsoever... (OK, I was somewhat disappointed that no super powers were granted... I still am to some extent... )

((No to the rumours that I had a 'Super Suit' ready to wear! :muttering)

I have never seen a member status badge on my computer. Are you using a phone?
