I'm just about to purchase a kubota L2250 with front end loader and finish mower. Need it primarily to mow 3 acres.

Can I safely mow with the fel attached? If not, how hard is it to remove/reinstall the fel? Any special equipment needed?

Thanks
steven

Steven, you can mow with the FEL attached. The negatives are that the FEL will increase the overall weight of the tractor and turf damage might be a concern. Also, if you have alot of trees, buildings, etc to mow around the FEL can get cumbersome. Try the Kubota Owning/operating board for help on the FEL removal.

Steven,

I think there's been quite a bit of discussion about this recently. If you haven't already tried the "search" feature, give it a try. Seems to me there was a pretty long thread about this very question within the last couple weeks. Personally, I take my FEL off (from a MF GC2300) , but I have a mid-mount mower. Good luck to you!
