I noticed that the drivers side wheel bearing has some Play in it. If I grab the top of the wheel and push/pull there is a bit of play in the hub. Should I leave it or look to replace the bearing.

Also, the oil is very black and the transmission fluid looked new. I think the owner replaced the transmission fluid before advertising it because it was sludge like. I looked in the dip stick hole and saw remit sludge like oil. What should I do? Run it for a while then change the oil again.

Thank mike

There is a 6205 and a 6206 ball bearing in there. If everything is right there should be no play. If much I would repair before other damage is done. Yanmar Tractor Parts: 2WD AXLE

Would it be possible to ask the former owner if he cleaned the suction strainer when changing the transmission/hydraulic fluid?
