Questions on FEL for 2310d

I picked up a 2310d 2 years ago and couldn't afford the loader. Hopefully this summer I will be able to get one so I have some questions. This tractor had a loader on it but it was taken off when sold. The hydraulic lines were left alone and had quick disconnects on them and I have the other ends to put on when I get one.

Koyker seems like the "best" brand from reading on here? Other good ones?

What size would be best for my tractor?

How difficult is it to install one of these?

There are no dealers in my area (except JD and Kubota) so I would have to order it. Would it be best to order from a dealer on here? What would shipping be on something like that?

Price around.....it will be worth your time, but make sure you know what you want so you're comparing apples to apples. Most Koyker installs are pretty basic. Crossing the hydraulic lines can trash the pump, or the keyway in the pump if you're lucky, so pay attention.

probably koyker 125-160. I would call koyker & ask them. I googled & found these 2 125 has 6.2 cu. ft bucket 160 has 7.5 cu ft bucket

Keith, I've said this so many times I sound like a broken record. These tractors were never intended to have a FEL mounted to them. Stock front tires are usually too small capacity wise to be used with a FEL.

The stk tires on my F24 have ZERO reserve capacity with nothing but me in the seat and loaded rear tires. Every lb in the bucket is 2 lb on the front axle.

Do your homework, be cautious, enjoy your equipment.

Mickey, Have you checked into having the front tires foam filled ?? Kinda makes the tires solid...Just wondering it that help out with the front tire issue
