In your opinion how many hours should show on a new kubota?

I would assume "0" or very close to it.

However, every new car (for example) has a few miles on it when you buy it.

Another way to ask this question is How many hours on a kubota before you consider it to be used?

In my searching for an M59 I'm finding some "new" units with 20-30 hours on them. I don't consider that to be new. Like new probably, new, no. Am I off base?

Mine had about an hour on it. Like you, I think those tractors have had some use - maybe even if only for demo. With that many hours I would at least expect some sort of discount - a few hundred dollars maybe.
