We just finished building our new house, and now I am in the process of preparing the yard for grass. I purchased and spread some sandy loam soil a week ago. After a nice little rain I noticed some small 1" iron ore rocks sitting on top. Other than being uncomfortable to the feet now...do I need to be concerned about it once the grass is seeded and grows in? Will the grass cover these rocks well enough so that we don't feel them under foot anymore? The grass I'll be seeding is called Yuma, and it is a 1 generation bermuda seed that grows thicker than common bermuda. I plan to keep it cut at 2 inches. Any thoughts or suggestions?
