Questions on the F series mower

Question A

Is it me or is it very hard to read the transmission fluid level on the stick? Every time I pull that stick out, I have to lay it onto some paper to see where the oil is at. Is there a trick I'm missing or is it just my eyes?

I'm hoping I shouldn't have more than 26 questions:laughing:

It is very difficult to see the hyd level on the stick on all of the Kubotas I've owned. I pull, clean, redip and hold the stick on it's side and work it around in the light while trying to get a reflection of the fluid and then for back up slide my fingers down the stick to feel it on the stick.
Some people that have shared having the same issue have used different brands that are colored but I've always used the clear Kubota SUDT or SUDT2. Yours has SUDT2 in it, that's what Barlows sells now and would have refilled it with that after replacing the seal and steering pump. You can probably figure your hyd fluid has now been changed (another reason yours is so clear) at 150 hours and won't need changed again until time between changes per owners manual.
