Hi Gentlemen/Ladies,
Looks like I will have to tow my 2002 PT425 from my walking trail where it quit back to my house. It's not far but I have a question about the "jumper hose" that I think I am supposed to have for towing. The hose I have has a screw-on fitting on just one end. The other end has nothing. It's fine for changing the hydro filter but I need fittings on both ends to use it as a jumper hose. Am I missing something on this? Was a proper jumper hose supposed to be supplied with the PT425? Can I get the jumper hose from Power Trac or do I need to have it made up locally?
The second question is about a replacement fuel filter. The Kohler engine manual does not mention anything about a part number for the fuel filter. What have you guys used?
The last question is about my fork lift "blades." I bent one of them somehow and now it is hard to get under stuff without tearing up the ground. I asked a welding shop about using heat to straighten the bent fork. I was told that it would weaken the steel to heat it up enough to straighten the fork. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance - Ken
