Quick attach for older CK30

My Kioti has the newer B style loader but not a QA for the bucket. Just pins. I am about to build a pole barn and would really like to rig up or buy some sort of boom (jin?) pole to be able to lift poles and trusses way up in the air. Truss peak will be 25' above ground level.

Thanks to IT I also want a grapple which would require the QA. The bucket on my tractor is not QA so I assume I would need a new bucket/QA system. As an aside, I just found cracks on the side of my bucket at the top corners!

I assume that these QA systems are the same as standard skidsteer QAs?

So what is the best way to get a QA system with bucket for my machine, knowing that I will also be looking for a boom pole system at the same time? Order all three from gator? Buy the Kioti QA/bucket and another brand of boom pole? Any ideas on cost for these things.

I know renting the proper telescoping fork lift is expensive. Might as well use my machine and get some cool new toys!

Kioti makes a QA for their new KL130 loader arms that will fit the older pin arms. I just changed mine over. Depending where, it's @$300 plus shipping. The QA is well built but not overdone considering that we can only lift 1200lbs. It fits the skidsteer style attachments. Some of the aftermarket QAs are twice the price and built like they should be for at least a DK45 or more. A Kioti QA bucket is @$450 plus shipping or you could check out everythingattachments.com. They have a compact tractor bucket but it seems a little heavy for our fel and I don't want to lose lift just because of a heavy bucket. They say it's for up to 50hp tractor. That's a big difference. I think I remember seeing boom poles there too. Or you could go white and look at the QA bucket for a Bobcat CT230. No clue on the price.

I cant help much on the Kioti, but on my Kubota, I bought the Kubota QA adapter and a new QA bucket. And later converted my old Pin on Bucket to QA with a QA plate I bought on e-bay for 124 bucks. There is a thread I made with lots of pix, on the conversion. It was lotsa fun. But worth it. Having the SSQA is great, and changing back and forth between the buckets and my QA forks are quick and easy.

If MIE doesn't have the pin to QA adapter I know that Rick Wallace used to carry those too (not sure if it is the same one).

Unless you are going to be lifting huge loads with your bucket (I assume you would use the forks or grapple for anything other than dirt), then you might just weld a partial QA receiver plate directly on to your pin mount to convert the bucket. You'd push it forward a few inches so will lose a bit of breakout and lift capacity but it would be cheaper than getting a new bucket. Of course you can also cut off the pin ears and just weld the receiver to the bucket but watch that you maintain the original angle established by the pins.

Don't make the mistake I did with forks with the KL120/130....don't get a full skidsteer 4000lb set as it is overkill and too heavy. There are nice lighter duty dedicated (not bucket mount) forks available if you look around. Your lift is only 1000 so really no need for more than that.

We carry the KIOTI QA Loader Tool Carriers. They fit the KL120 and KL130 (old Style and New) Front Loaders. We also have the weld plates to convert the bucket to Universal QA.
