Well, since I am going to have to wait a year or so to get my new tractor I will have to live with an older one until then.

I was wondering, has anyone ever converted a rigid mount FEL with front mount Hydro Pump into a quick attach? (1960's Ford 3000 type)

I was looking at one the other day and I don't see why it couldn't be done.

Seems you would just have to cut the uprights and weld in the quick connect type (or modify the existing), change the hoses to quick connect fittings, and add a kick stand and you have it! Is there something I am missing?

Most of the guys with the older non quick attach loaders, just took the bucket off, or pulled the pins at the loader arms and lift cylinder Thats what I used to do with our Kubota L345 DT.
