Found this old rusted plow on my brother's farm. Sand blasted and painted it. Made the quick attach bracket. $100 invested. Of course it hasn't snowed here since completed!
Pull the pin to manually adjust angle left or right.

I do seem to have a problem though, maybe someone can suggest a solution without having to remake a quick attach bracket. I thought I was going to be able to set my loader tilt angle and then run with it in float position. Seems when this is done the pressure going forward causes the plow to tilt back at the top...the tilt cylinders are forced closed. This tilts the plow and lifts the wear bar off the surface. I thought the float position only affected the lift cylinders and not the tilt.

Dave,
That is a similar setup for a front blade I am hoping to do in the future. Looks good and so does the price !
As far as the float affecting the tilt I don't use float much so I can't answer that. I wouldn't think float should affect the tilt angle.

Chances are pretty good that if you use that plow to push snow to one side or the other, it will void your warranty on the loader. Your cylinders will probably blow out. Great Bend tried for years to design a loader/plow that could take the side force. It never happened. By the time they got cylinders on that would take the side force the cost was not reasonable to offer it to the consumer. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thanks for the input Rback33. I will keep that in mind...it is somethng I had not thought about. I do see however that this company seems to have figured this problem out.....looks alot like the one I made with a much higher price tag as well!

It could be the force being put on the cylinders is greater than the releif valve in the loader valve is set for and its bypassing fluid.

part of your problem is having the self leveling loader. your tilt cyls are affected by your up and down controls. you can bypass the self leveler on the cross arm of the loader and then unhook the quick couplers for the tilt cyls and use only the up and down controls. Being a Kioti dealer I would have to urge you not to use that plow on that rig. But if you insist, you have to get some m6 couplers and bypass the self leveler for starters. Good Luck!
