Quick Connect Problem

Hi Guys:
I am using a skid steer mount snow plow on my JD 5425. Works great, but having difficulty connecting the Skid steer style hose connections. The connectors seem to work ok, but it takes all my strength to force the hose connection into tractor fitting. Is there an adjustment on the plow to reduce the required pressure? Is the oil pressure on a skid steer higher than on a farm tractor?
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

You need to relieve the pressure before you disconnect the line by first turning the machine off then move the control for that remote back and forth.
