quick disconnect loader bucket pictures needed

I want to convert my fixed bucket 17la FEL to the quick connect type. Can it been done with factory parts or do I need to make the parts myself?
Does anyone have good pictures of the quick disconnect and how it works?

I just did it to my 16LA .... bought the QA from NH dealer ... then bought a QA plate online, cut off the pin on brackets on the bucket and welded the plate on. Here's a shot of the whole thing after - the pin on brackets are sitting on top of the bucket.

how much did it cost to do? Also where did to get the weld on plate online at? Do you have part numbers ?

cost was about $600 total .... the plate came from qualityweldingservice.com. The part you'll need for the 17LA I'm betting will be a tad different than for the 16LA so you'll have to ask your NH dealer about that. The QA for the tractor was the most costly - about $450 .... the plate was $100 ....It's a very easy thing to do -- just jump in and do it. First thing is to get the QA from NH. Once you have it - just looking at it will tell you how it works ----quite well actually /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif .... In my pic - I've put white lines around the handles that drive the lower pin into the bottom holes on the plate (white line again) You just put the wedge shaped top of the QA into the top slot on the bucket plate - lift - then drive the pins down to secure it.

I kept looking several places and I think the way I did it was the cheapest. By all means shop around -- but ya gotta do it! It's the best money I've ever spent on my tractor. The whole point of me doing it was so that I could use the grapple I wanted - which only came as a QA. ...BUT ... now there are all kinda toys I can buy for it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just got off the phone with my dealer.
The QA part for the loader is $450.
He is also the bobcat dealer and he wants $168 for the plate to weld onto my bucket.
I think I'll get the QA parts from him and the plate somewhere else.

Unless you want to rent skidsteer attachments, ATI also has a pin-on quick attach. To see it, you have to download their catalog. I have the same type except it is a MF version and it works well. With a pin-on type you don't have to do anything to the bucket and you don't have to buy anymore adapter plates etc. It uses your bucket just like it is now. It is a lot less expensive than the skidsteer type.

There's another outfit that does if you'd rather do the conversion with a pin-on adapter on the bucket .... but it costs more. Also - jinman has one setup like that and it sticks the bucket out there farther than I would've liked so I opted to do the weld on. It was cheaper anyway. I just don't remember that outfits name right now.
