Quick fix - set \"posts per page\" to 50
Hi all -
Just wanted to make sure everyone knows about this great little tip I picked up from Gatorboy. If you go into "display preferences" in "My Home" and set the number of posts displayed on a page to 50, you will avoid much of the hassle of navigating from page to page due to the recent "site hiccups". (There's a box asking you to set the number of "parent posts" per page - not knowing what a "parent post" was, I just set it to 50 as well). Navigation is much, much easier this way - thanks GB. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Just thought of one more great tip I got from "the man in blue". Again, y'all might already know about this one, but in case not: you can avoid a lot of problems with the "quote" function by not using it at all. Just indicate "quotes" in a post by making them a particular color instead - I happen to like blue, as does GB. Then, when and if you edit a post, your quotes won't get all mangled. Sure made TBN life a lot easier for me.
Hope this helps, John D.
