3-Point Hitch Quick Hitch

Nothing wrong with the Chinese knockoff, other than cosmetic fit & finish issues. Mechanically it's the same as the $300 version. Any problems you have will be with non-conforming TPH implements. The solution is to spend another $50 on a selection of flexible toplink brackets. Same solution would be required if you bought the expensive one.

I use the HFT quick hitch on my dozer with a LW-6 BH, 1,000 lb. counterweight, and commercial scraper w/ scarifiers, and like Greg said, " the only problems I've had is hooking up to non-AGMA Standard attachments".

I read most of the previous thread on this subject and wonder does anyone know for sure if HF fixed the problem of not fitting the bottom links? I am going to measure my implements tomorrow and if the 26.5 spread works I will probably order one. I am not very good and fabricating to make things fit and do not weld or have a welder so the bottom fit is my consern right now.

Hi Kratos,
What are you calling the bottom links? Do you mean the latches? I wasn't aware of any problems at all with these units, but the truth is that you could probably buy 50 of these hitches and no two of them would be the same dimension between the legs even though they are fabricated on a jig.
A lot can happen between here and China; containers bumped, etc. (Take it from me).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the AGMA standard for category 1 hitches is 27" inside face between the legs or 28-1/4" OC. I found that I had to "adjust" my legs about 1" total (1/2"/side) with a port-a-power to get the correct measurement, and I found it necessary to fabricate adapters to make the LW-6 BH compatible with the rest of the world. If anyone is interested, I can post the drawing and photos.

I'd love to see them, or even just a photo and description.

I would like to see them too. I am not sure what they are called, but the thread I was reading said that the bottom arms have a width of 1 3/8 while the QH was 1 1/4 inches. This was what I was refering to.

These adapters bring the inside hitch pin spacing on the LW-6 BH to match the AGMA standards to which the Quick Hitch was built.

Did you see the post where one member had a problem sliping the hitch over the 3pt hitch arms? He used a bolt w/ 2 nuts to spread the hitch. Simple, easy and cheap. For the $, its tough to beat.
