i know this has probably been covered in another thread, but are these two (one in back of the seat, one in back of the tractor) connectors on the same cable harness?

What are these for?

The reason, i am asking is that I just picked up a sprayer for my grass and bushes and i wanted to know if i can use these2 connectors to connect up to my sprayer's electric motor?

My 790 has two connectors dangling loose behind the seat (one beside each fender) and I asked the same question. On the 790, they are for lights. Can't say what yours are for but I suspect at least the one in the rear is probably for lights as well. If you have a handheld DVM (or analog meter with resistance check), you can check for continuity between the two connectors. Or, you could look for the electrical wiring diagram for that model tractor and see how/what they are wired too.

It's either for lights or a backup alarm-get your DVM and/or FSM out and do some testing;)

that is true, i do have the tech manual, but i was thinking for a quicker answer i could go ahead and ask the forum as the manual can be a bit difficult at times..

Hello KennyD, i finally got my browser working again so i can see all the attachments and messages. Yeah, I will get my DVM out and turn on the key to see if there is any power to either plug. I hope the motor on this thing is not drawing too many amps (8 max) for the 3520:eek:. i would hate to have to take it back and get a 60 gallon PTO unit. It was about $200 bucks more than the 40 gallon unit I bought, plus the 40 is more oriented towards my size grounds/yard.

What kind of pump are you using? 40G sprayer - how many GPM is the pump. I would check that 8A number. I bet you would run the wires in thru the rear window and run it off the cig lighter and have you an on and off switch right there.

I use the accessory plugs on my 5525 to run a couple different sprayer rigs on the back.

ddivinia; that is my plan A, but I wanted to explore plan B. I am all ready for the Plan A, but I was trying to avoid running through my back window, but it is pretty simple and it is easy. It has the switch already set up, so I might as well go with my plan A.

Cool deal. You won't be using it all the time - so, running some cables out the window is not a huge deal. I do it on my hay baler moisture sensor and my grass wiper.
