Hello all,

Got a quote for a 3045 w/hydro, 250TLw/72" quick bucket, R4's, 4 rear wheel weights.....all for a mere $26,900 (this takes into account the 0% deal). Any idea if this is reasonable? I know they have the new Boomers on the lot, so I would imagine they might be anxious to deal, but I wanted a second opinion. Thanks in advance.

$26.9k sounds reasonable to me. Did they have any 3040s, or only the 3045? The reason I'm asking is that the 3040s are normally at least $1.5k cheaper and you will never know the difference in power or operation since the 5 hp gain will only be felt at the PTO.

Hello jinman,

Thanks for the response. He has 3 on the lot, all are the 3045 with the same config. (No 3040's)

Are they still making that body style, or is everything in the 'new' format? He also had the new Boomer 40 on the lot, but it cost more than the 3045.

I have the 3045 CVT with Cab and 250TL QA and paid 33,400 if that helps.

9/1/2010 I purchased a similar NH T3045; I also had them install a grille guard and bolt on cutting edge for the loader. OTD price (no sales tax due to farm use) was 28,720 which included a Woods Heritage HC72 cutter w/ shear bolt. This included August pricing and cash discount of 600. Thus, your quoted price is right in the ballpark.

BTW, you will love this tractor; only 15 hours for me thus far, but will be planting 11,000 trees at the end of this month with other uses as the weather warms.

I was quoted 27.5k for the 3045 TL w/ R4's this time last year. I just go the loan so i'm seriously looking now. I'm shopping around all the brands. I'm kind of leaning towards some kioti's. But i'm a ford man. Hard to get away from that.

Just FYI,

I've got the red equivalent of the 3045 (DX45). I understand that there would be no difference in power to the wheels between the 3040 or 3045 but for some including myself PTO power is important. I run a 72" tiller and 84" finish mower behind my DX45 and at times wish I had a few more PTO horsepower. I don't think I would be happy with less. PTO power may be as important as power to the wheels to some.
