R1 to R4 Tires/Rims

My Dad's L2900's R1 tires have seen better days so the shopping process has begun...When we bought the tractor we took the R1's, after 6 months of use, we wished we had gotten R4's...
Question...whats the best place to get the R4 rims for this machine? TBN searches has provided me with the info needed to get the correct tires, but Rims are my "problem" now. Would Kubota dealer be the cheapest place to get the Rim/Tire combo? Are there any aftermarket rims available? Any cross references to currently available/other models in case I can find a set?

For the tire and rim it has normally been the cheapest to buy through the Kubota wholegoods book. The factory rim and tire codes are ALR8869 for the front and the rears are ALR8855. The fronts are currently listed at 312 each and 690 each for the rears.

That gives you a total of 2004 plus freight.

We've tried to beat the factory prices several times and have not found them to be cheaper in the long run. We've had to paint rims and modify the mountings to use with what we found through aftermarket. There may be better sources at this time but they are the same as the current tire combo's offered.

Thanks Art....I quickly googled the codes you supplied and found that there are various "Letter Codes" to the ALR8869 you supplied... I found a C and an A, are there any differences I should be aware of?
