- IH 560, JD 318, JD 777 zero turn w 72" deck, 2014 JD 2032R w 72" MMM, H130 FEL w ballast box, 54" front snow blade
This is my first post, so please bear with me, if I over or under do it. ---Been waiting for the new JD 2032R (very similar to JD 2720) to become available and now they are. Am considering one with the H-130 FEL, 72" MMM, front snow blade and rear ballast box. I would like the R4 tires, but here is my dilemma. I am attempting to replace all the equipment (JD 777, JD 318, IH560 listed in my profile) with one machine. I have a 1.5 acre irrigated and manicured primary lawn and mow another 15 acre rough lawn about once a month (I have been doing this all with the 777 zero turn). I want the R4 tires for loader work on the 2032R around the house and in the woods, cutting fire wood, etc. I am afraid the bar type tires will turf my primary lawn. I know the turf tires would be a lot easier on my primary lawn, but would not be ideal for the other work I mention above. I have thought about turf tires for the lawn and then putting chains on if needed for more traction in the woods and doing loader work. I have also considered the R4 tires on the new rig and then buying another small mower for the primary lawn work, but that defeats my goal of having only one machine. Anybody out there mowing their primary lawn with a rig like the 2032 with R4's? - If yes, are you satisfied with the finished lawn look (i.e. is there any turfing or tire tracks visible)? Your observations and recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks much, Stanrav
