I just bought a b3030 with r4 industrial tires. They seem to be a little rough riding. I talked to my dealer and he will trade me for some turf tires. What are most of you all running on your tractors? 95% of my use is cutting grass.
I use a b3030 cab for about the same 95% finish mowing. I find that the turf tire ride very nice, are stable, and are very easy on the turf. I also find I get very little front end binding on tight turns when using 4WD with the turf tires while on the grass.
I have both sets for my B3030HSDC. The Turfs are the best for the amount of mowing you are doing. They ride very nice over uneven lawns and won't break your back like the R4's will. The R4's go on when snow season comes.

I've got turfs on my 7610 (my first tractor). It's pretty amazing what turfs will do with weight and 4 wheel drive.
The only time they fail is in wet silt mud that fills the tread completely. I'm thinking of chains for mud and ice.
I wish I could use the turf tires. I have a B7500 with R4's which are a must for me. I spend quite a bit of time in the woods and it is muddy - I don't think the turf tires would work. But the ride sure can be bumpy when passing over roots and such. I tried lowering the air pressure and within 3 weeks I had burst a rear wheel and had a large thorn through a front tire. I don't know if the two things are related but since then I have kept the pressure at recommended levels.
