R4041 coolant leak

Had my tractor since Oct and love it. Found a small puddle of coolant under it Saturday. Traced it down(or up) to the thermostat housing. The top hose comes from the radiator to the front of the cylinder head where I am assuming the thermostat is housed. I checked the two bolts that bolt it together, both were tight. Did not check the hose clamp. Wish I would have. Loaded it up and took it to the dealer. I offered to fix it myself if they would get the parts, they said no, bring it in. I am assuming the gasket cracked. Could be the hose though. On a side note, we have been having some sub zero temps here in middle TN. JLow.

I had the same problem on my 4041. The thermostat housing was cracked. The dealer picked it up, fixed it and returned it the same day. No problems since (2 months ago) mine would only leak when the engine was cold.

Just a few days ago I noticed some drops of coolant in the snow too. I ended up tightening the upper and lower radiator hose clamps. I was able to get about 4 turns on each clamp. I think that was the culprit...

Check the radiator when it's cold, I just found a pin hole leak in my new 3037, it took me several days to finally find it as it was only a little bit of coolant at a time and the airflow pads under the radiator was absorbing most of the antifreeze, dealer ordered a new radiator and foam pads today for it

My R4041 with 71 hours is doing this same thing, since the temps got down below zero.

I called the dealer, he said check the hose clamp.

The housing bolts are tight, I will check the clamp next, but it sure looks like its coming from the gasket.
