Rabbit repellent

Anyone know of a good way to stop rabbits from eating up a garden. They have eaten 4 of my sweet pepper plants????????

How about you plant 2 gardens...one for you and one for the bunnies......then you can invite me and my fur buddies over....they love rabbits:licking::licking:

In a word, fence! I use a 16" chicken wire fence around my gardens, permanent one two sides, panels on the other two. The panels are CCA 2x2s w/10' x 1/2" galvanized conduit drilled through the top & bottom, then the chicken wire is tied to the conduit. ~~ grnspot110

When I was a kid the neighbor actually ran 120 volts AC. He had fried coon to go with his garden produce.

You have to stop them getting into your garden. We have fenced our garden against, rabbits, our chickens, deer and bear. As suggested by grnspot110 you need to fence them out.
Or learn to make bunnie soup. :licking:

Spread blood meal around the perimeter of the garden. A neighbor told me to do that and it apparently worked quite well. Of course, it's a fertilizer, so it has to be re-applied after a good rain, and it sure makes the grass grow around the garden.

We use a repellent called Shot gun repels all made Bonide corp.works well for
rabbits they play all around it and may run through it but not stay.We bought it
at a garden center.Used it for 3 seasons now.My wife thinks leaving short pieces
of water hose laying around looks like snakes to rabbits dont know about that.

A repellent that has worked real well for me is called "Liquid Fence". They sell it at TSC and Lowes. Have had very little trouble when using this product.

I have used Liquid Fence for the past four years also. Seems to really do the trick.

It does smell pretty bad at first though...
