Rabbit/Turtle switch stuck

While pulling up small stumps with my TC40D I notice my rabbit/turtle indicator was stuck on rabbit. It will toggle to turtle (either from the joystick or the panel switch) and the tranny will kick down to low, but when you release the switch it goes back to rabbit. Has anyone encounter this before? Thanks.

There have been several reports of the same or similar problems with the resolution being cleaning dirt out of the fender switch and having an electrical connector come loose under the left-side operator's platform. If you do a search of this forum for the word "turtle" or "rabbit" you will get lots of hits and be able to see the problem discussed in detail.

I disconnected the joystick switch and it worked correctly. A closer inspection revealed the rabbit button on the joystick was stuck.
