Radiator Flush

/ Radiator Flush #2
Chances are following the directions on a can of additive for flushing should do the job. Biggest problem is getting rid of the fluids.:D

Whats the easiest way to flush the coolant system on my 1610? Thanks

It really simple. First you need to purchase some radiator flush. Prestone makes a good one but there are others out there that are just as good. On the larger diesel we sometimes use liquid Cascade, but I would not suggest that on these little units. Cummins use to give you a chart on how to use in the older owners manuals.

As was said in the previous post follow the directions on the can of flush as they are not all the same.

There is a drain on the drivers side of the frame just behind the radiator. Use that but it is also a good idea to remove the lower radiator hose on the final flush to make sure you get any large debris out of the system. Make sure you fluch the fins on the radiator while you are it they can get clogged.

Have fun:)

I guess you lost me on that, since the seat is in the center of the tractor. Do you mean the left side????
