I've got the service manual for my F series Toolcat 5600 and, still, I can't get the radiator out. I saw a post on another site where someone else was having the same issue, but they never posted an answer. So, I'm wondering if anyone has removed the radiator in their Toolcat 5600 and, if so, what's the secret to hose removal?
I've got the bed removed so access is great and I'm just trying to remove the radiator, not the whole radiator and oil cooling package. According to the manual, you slide the radiator hose clips on both sides away from the radiator and then (after removing the bolts, of course), lift the radiator from the back and slide it towards the rear to get it out. It never even mentioned removing the hoses themselves - as if they are going to slide off as I remove the radiator.
Those directions simply don't work. I can't seem to remove the hoses first because they have nowhere to go and the clip won't fit through the frame, even though the hose could. I can't pull the radiator back because it appears to be sitting in a plastic tray that is "keyed" to fit it -- sliding back hits the tray so it needs to come straight up. I can't lift the radiator up because the hoses are attached (and go through a hole in the plastic shroud and the frame, making things difficult).
Anyway, my latest theory is to move the hose clips away from the radiator (as instructed in the service manual) - and then pry the hose off enough that I can move the hose clip back toward the radiator onto the nipple, but not the hose. Then, remove the hose from the machine on the other end of it and pull it off the radiator through the hole in the frame (leaving the clip on the radiator). Then, I'm hoping I can just lift the radiator out.
Anyway, that was a long post for a short question but if you've done this, you know what I'm talking about, and I could use your advice.

I got the radiator out in minutes by holding the hose clamp with a pliers while I pulled the hose off the radiator from the machine side. It doesn't even need to come through the hole in the frame -- there is room to get it off the radiator nipple and then remove the clamp in the gap left behind. Do that on both sides and then lift at about a 45 degree angle from the back of the radiator and it'll come out of the plastic tray.
