Kubota BX24 TLB
My local Kubota dealer came through :D They were able to get the Regional Rep to pony up radiator shroud for my BX24 ;) The local dealer said all you have to do is install it yourself  They want to help me save some money :)

So here is my question. Has anyone done this instal before? If so how do I do it and or where can I find the info on the installation? I am fairly mechanical inclined

Thank you Adams Tractor of Spokane, Wa (I don't know if we can plug a dealer or not, however they helped me save some money so I thought give them props) :D

Raditator shroud? Is that the same as a cowling that clips to the radiator the fans sits in, helping to cool it? I have doon some work on jeeps and clutch fans. If this is the case, just be sure all the hardware is there, and before you start anything.geta smallpiece of cardboard and slide it beteen the fan and the radiator, keep it against the radiator to prevent damaging the cooling fins. That is if ya can work it with the shroud install.
Its gonna be tight to say the least. I justput an alternator on my BX23, and had to put the belt on the alternator before I installed the alternator....its that tight.
Good luck, and take your time. Raise the bucket, pull the bash bar and cowling so you have access from the sides.

Note sure if this is the place for this but, my BX25 is going in for it's forth rad shroud. Everything is covered under warranty but this is getting ridiculous. The dealer says there is nothing they can do other than replace each time it breaks. The machine is not yet a year old and only has 120 hrs on it. The sides of the shroud just get chipped away and break off. I only hope when a piece gets jammed into the rad they are as happy to replace that too!

Is anyone else having the shroud on a BX25 disintegrating on a monthly basis?

I had the same problem...It was also repaired under warranty. It only has broken once so far. It happened when I hit a bump in the asphalt driveway when plowing snow...:ashamed:

I have a BX23 and have noticed that the ends of the fan blades are showing signs of scuffing. It appears that the engine is mounted loosly enough that under the right conditions, the fan contacts the shroud. If you grab the engine by the valve cover and shake it side to side, contact can be made between the fan and shroud. I expect that you are bouncing around enough to make enough contact that the shroud is getting broken.
I haven't broken my shroud yet but was considering trimmint the fan blades by about 1/2 inch to releive this condition.
