I am trying to adjust the mower deck hieght on a 1982 John deere 108 lawn tractor. I just bought it and it runs great but the cut is to low. It is adjustable with a knob but even at the highest setting it is still to low. I tried to adjust the bolt on the arm that holds the deck but there is only a bolt on the right side (when looking at the front) there is no adjuster bolt on the other side. I adjusted the bolt but got an uneaven cut. any help would be great.
