Tractor
Compacts
Hi all,

Going to get a rake for general stick collection and smoothing very small area of gravel, plus whatever else I can think of using it for.

My question is, what size do you think is best ? My tractor is a compact and about 5,9 wide, but I may end up down the track with a sub compact too that is narrower.....

So are the better to be wider than tractor, or same width generally ? I was originally thinking of a 7ft, byt a 6ft is a lot cheaper, then 5 & 4....what do you say ?

I have a 7ft rake with a 6ft wheel spacing. I personally wouldn't go any narrower. At least as wide as your rear wheels would be minimum to me.

I did not think about using it on an angle, but that need may arise, so will get 7ft......

7' should do the job well, you'll be able to get rack close to objects instead of the tractor.
