- 1988 Case IH 245 (compact)
Hi all! I recently purchased a new to me compact tractor, a 1988 Case IH 245. I am in the process of trying to add rear remotes for a backhoe attachment. My plan is to use the pressure line that feeds the front end loader to feed a new valve block at the back and then run a hose from it's power beyond up to the loader(the loader valve body has no power beyond port). I am going to tee the return line from the new rear valve into the loader return line where it enters the auxiliary adaptor.
My question is about a hydraulic hose that comes out of the top of the lift cover, near top of the cover. It comes out of the cover and then hangs down to the bottom of the tractor on the right hand side and has a female quick connect fitting on it. I don't know if it was used to feed an attachment that used to connect to the center pto or what it was for. I am new to hydraulics and thought that any line that was a pressure line would need a return line too, but I see no return line anywhere.
I will try to attach a couple of photos. They are not the best pics, I had the camera stuck up under the tractor to try and see where the line came from.
