Snow RatchetRake use in the snow

Is anyone using their RatchetRake in the snow? Maybe on gravel roads.

Granted I no longer have my RR, but I can't imagine it would do anything close to useful in the snow.

Can I ask why you no longer have your RR? Considering getting one in the Spring for some lawn reno work and land reclamation.

It's great for this, I just wondered if it had some other strengths like in snow.

I agree with JOHNTHOMAS, the RR will be a perfect match for what you are wanting to do.

I thought about getting my RR out for our big snow we got here on the east coast but thought better about it. I have recycled asphalt for my drive and I tore it up pretty good with just the FEL. With more experience, I may give it a shot but I doubt it would do much good.

hmm breaking up the ice might work with RR. move the snow? leaving ridges ?

B/c it didn't do what I was hoping it would do. It's a fine product, just not designed for what I had in mind.

And ya, maybe you could use it in the snow to make some nice ribs like the snow cats do when they groom the bunny trails
